The 2011 Fall Show was cut short due to hurricane Irene

The weather held off Friday and Saturday but were marred with heavy rain on Saturday night from hurricane Irene. Most of the vendors and tractors pulled out on Saturday night so they would not get stuck at the grounds. Our musical entertainment featuring Covert Action on Saturday night and church services for Sunday morning were cancelled. Folks that did come to the show on Friday and Saturday got to enjoy all of the great food, lots of tractors and engines, sawmill demonstrations, thrashing and baling wheat and folks even got to see 3 steam engines (Aultman and Taylor, Frick and a Farquhar) at work (or play) throughout the weekend. New to the show this fall was a marionette show, games and face painting by Puppen Meister Productions which the kids all enjoyed. We are looking forward to next year's spring show and hopefully better weather. We hope to see you there!
